Action Step Ideas:

1. Self-educate: Ibram X. Kendi’s books “How to Be an Antiracist” and “Stamped from the Beginning” are great places to start

2. Listen: Be willing to hear the experiences, world views, aspirations and fears of those whose lives have been most clearly impacted by racist policies and ideas

3. Practice conscious consumerism: Vigorously support companies and organizations that unequivocally denounce racism and support antiracism

4. Courageous conversations: Speak up when friends, family and colleagues express racist ideas or promote racist policies

5. Take political action: Vote out and protest against politicians who support racist policies; empower and embolden advocates of antiracist policies
