Courageous Conversations – Monday, May 24, 5:30 pm-7:30 pm, via Zoom

This month’s Courageous Conversation will be: Exploring Black Fatherhood.

Description: Where do the stereotypes of absent black fathers come from? It’s important to recognize that stereotypes are socially and culturally constructed and reinforced through systems, culture, etc. While these stereotypes manifest to place negative assumptions on Black fathers and their fatherhood, we will hear from Black fathers who celebrate, enjoy, and mentor their children.

An unmoderated 30 minutes will begin at 7 pm.  ( We’re calling it The Parking Lot).
