This is a marvelous opportunity to hear from Steven Cheung, a visiting teacher from Beijing, about life in China. Some of his life experiences will be shared as well as a ‘visit’ to Steven’s homeland school. Can you imagine having 6,500 students in the school your child attends? Also Dr. Karen Schulte, Superintendent of the School District of Janesville, will highlight Janesville’s International Education Program with an emphasis on China.
This event will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 2 at the UW Rock County campus, 2909 Kellogg Avenue, Hyatt Smith Meeting Room, Janesville.
This is free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to come. Registration is not needed. For more information, contact Jeanne Carfora, 608.756.1815, [email protected].
