Supporting Black boys in their journey to manhood

Black boys have numerous challenges to overcome as they face the racism of our society. One way to encourage their self-esteem is to provide role models – teachers of color and men who will be their mentors. We will hear from Dr Rick Daniels, who is president of the Black Male Role Models group. We will also remember the second anniversary of George Floyd’s death.

An unmoderated 30 minutes will begin at 7 pm.  (We’re calling it The Parking Lot).

Just to remind us all – the agreements for Courageous Conversations are:

1) stay engaged, 2) experience discomfort, 3) speak your truth, and

4) expect and accept non-closure.
